Send a rebate application prior commencing your voyage or at least 48 hours before sailing from load port. Please highlight the following:

Nature and Quantity of cargo loaded if any – Daily chartering rate – Bunkering ports –Deviation point.

Suez Canal Tolls
- Signed statement by Master and Owners/Operators highlighting the vessel journey without any stoppage at intermediate ports for cargo operations.
- Cargo manifest and lading bill if available
- Certificate released from port authorities of origin highlighting departure date, quantity and nature of cargo
- Certificate/S.O.F. in case of vessel call at any port en-route, verifying bunkering/crew change purposes and no cargo operations
- Documents to be submitted within 6 months of transit
- 70 days validity from date of SCA reply until arrival at Suez Canal.
Note:
Should the vessel, change load or discharge port from those stated in the original Bill of Lading or manifest, a revised calculation is to be presented to the S.C.A. showing the new reduction required. New documentation is to be presented.
General:
The S.C.A. calculates 3 extra days steaming via the Cape for bad weather. – Correct vessel speed to be calculated taking into account bad weather conditions – to ensure that allowance calculation is not made twice) – It takes two to three days to receive an answer after making a proposal to the S.C.A. concerning any vessel you feel should be eligible for a rebate, and negotiate on your behalf.
